ABOUT ME

ACTOR. SINGER. DANCER.

Growing up, I was a very clumsy child. Falling into rose bushes, getting my fair share of stitches, or having black eyes from running into walls were constant battles for me (Yes, these all happened on multiple occasions). Due to these occurrences, my poor over-protective mother sent me to ballet classes at four-years-old to help me be more balanced and graceful. Little did "Baby Kayla" know that this would change her entire life. From there, I was obsessed with everything related to performing. Whether that be show-choir, children's theatre, karaoke nights, you name it!

My love of theatre has consumed my entire life, in the best way possible.

Theatre is empathy. Theatre is passion. Theatre is creating new stories to extend onto the next generation! "Baby Kayla" would be so proud that I'm pursuing the most awesome career in the world!

Fun facts about me:

  • My two favorite musicals are SIX and HADESTOWN

  • In my opinion, TARZAN is the best Disney movie of all time

  • Shakira, Celine Dion, and Josh Groban were my muses as a child

  • Veganism has consumed my life for almost six years (I'm happy that I am helping the planet, but sad that I can't eat carne asada anymore)

  • I have an affinity for cats and consider myself to be a bonafide cat whisperer!

Set to the soundtrack of a generation, this funny, heartfelt new jukebox musical follows four friends who meet freshman year of college and vow to change the world, and to be there for each other… always. Created by the writers of hit TV shows like “The Nanny,” and Off-Broadway’s Under My Skin, this World Premiere rock ‘n’ roll musical is a timely story about the choices we make, the trials, triumphs, and turning points that define a lifetime – and the one thing that matters most – somebody to love. Songs include “Dance to the Music,” “Call Me,” “Some Kind of Wonderful,” “Feel Like Making Love,” “Locomotive Breath,” and “Taking It to the Street,” as well as the title song.
